OE Federal Gives Back
In more than just one way
OE Federal Credit Union believes in giving back! Our focus is not only to provide affordable products and services, but to also support our union family and the local communities in the areas where we all live, work, and play. To OE Federal, building lasting relationships and supporting our union brothers and sisters with resources and financial support is what makes our OE Federal family strong!
OE Federal provides resources to our members and local communities in various forms, such as sponsoring events, supporting and donating to charities, volunteering at events, member education, assistance in saving for retirement, and giving back to our members with our dividend programs.
Below you’ll see what we’ve been up to throughout the year. Thank you for being part of our union family and helping to make these programs successful.
Union Visa Rebate Program – March 2015
OE Federal Credit Union believes in giving back to our union brothers and sisters, as well as local communities. That’s why we developed our Union Visa Rebate Program. When members use their OE Federal Visa STEEL Cards, 1% of the total annual interest paid is donated by the credit union to the preferred charity of their Local Union.
For 2014, we proudly helped donate over $46,700 to different Local Union charities.
Auto Bonus Deposit – January 2015
OE Federal Credit Union created its Bonus Deposit Program to thank members for financing or refinancing an Auto Loan. Through this program, members receive a special $100 Bonus Deposit that is deposited directly into their primary account within 60 days of loan funding.
In 2014, we gave each member who financed or refinanced an Auto Loan with OE Federal $100, totaling over $323,000.
OE Federal's Bonus Deposit Program is ongoing, so if you’re interested in financing or refinancing and Auto Loan with us, call 800.877.444 or apply online by clicking here.
In 2011, OE Federal Credit Union implemented a Loyalty Dividend Program that pays 1% of the total interest paid back to its members who have a loan with the credit union.
What does this mean? OE Federal pays you back just for a having an auto loan, home loan, or Visa STEEL Credit Card! In 2014, through this program, we paid over $189,000 back to our members.
*Important Tax Notice: The Loyalty Dividend will be treated as taxable income and will be reported to federal and state tax agencies as required. Please consult with a tax professional if you have questions concerning the tax implications of this dividend payment.

This year, the SACTOWN Ten-Mile Run raised $160,000. OE Federal Credit Union stood out having over 28 runners and 34 spectators wearing their OE Federal sponsored “Get Your Rears in Motion” event shirts. “It was a great experience and a lot of fun. We had one of the largest numbers of registered runners from one credit union to participate,” said Christina Boyd, AVP Member Services. “Great representation from our credit union and support of Children’s Miracle Network; one of my favorite moments was watching and cheering on my fellow OE Federal runners as they crossed the finish line!”
OE Federal was proud to take part in this wonderful event. Thank you to the runners, spectators, and event staff who made the SACTOWN Ten-Mile Run possible. We look forward to next year’s event.
